Merry Christmas

This morning we had waffles and boca sausage links for breakfast. This afternoon we will bake peanut butter cookies. It would have been nice to wrap some of the cookies in a tin and share with the local police or fire department. Perhaps we will still do that.

This year we are working on our devotion time as a family; not necessarily reading from a book, but being consistent and sharing what God has laid on our hearts and discussing how we can incorporate that message into our lives.

Merry Christmas to all, and may we remember the true reason for the celebration this season.

God Bless

  1. Oh, that's such a nice idea. I will have to remember sharing some cookies with the fire/polic departments. Everything is looking really nice. By the way, I use the SDA version of Sonlight. I did do a post on it not too long ago. I couldn't find it at a quick glance...never mind. Here it is. lol http://w8ng4him.blogspot.com/2006/12/our-curriculum.html Can you tell you inspired me to fool around with my template. Naughty, naughty!!

  2. It's nice to let them know that we appreciate the hard work that they do in the community.

I use the SDA version of Sonlight as well. We just started with it this year and are really enjoying it so far. We will have to share some ideas.

Your template looks awesome! You will have to show me how you got that picture in your header.
