Mopping the Floor

I absolutely love to use the Swiffer to mop my kitchen floor. Use it to mop nightly and your kitchen floor will always be clean. It only takes a couple of minutes and is very easy to use. What I also love about it is you don't have to buy the wet or dry cloths that go with it. You can cut up an old towel and use it in place of the cloths.

It works for me!

  1. Great tip! I think that swiffer came up with a great idea when they introduced maxi pad technology to floor cleaning! I know, gross, but it's true.

  5. I need to get in the habit of giving the floor a once-over every day. I think it would make my Friday Preparation day cleaning easier.

  6. Whoa that's a perfect tip. Once my wet wipes run out, I'm cutting up and old cloth and getting busy!

p.s. what should I use as far as the liquid??? I have wood floors???

  7. Tanyetta,

I just use water on my towel, but then I have tile floors in my kitchen, so I'm not sure about the wood. I would think that if you can use the swiffer wet on it, you can use water too. Don't quote me on that though. :-)

  8. I'm a Swiffer fan. And I do use old towels to clean the floor. I think it works better then the Swiffer pads.
