Sew Crafty Friday
For this week's Sew Crafty Friday I am linking to a post about my Christmas Bags. I also went to Snapfish and made a book for my grandmother that included several of the pictures that I took during the Thanksgiving holiday. I guess that would count as digital scrapbooking. :-) She absolutely LOVED it. The book was about 22 pages and it cost me $35 including shipping. Not too shabby especially considering the fact that the book was bound in leather.

I've been thinking about making one of those books for my mother-in-law. Her birthday is in January, so I guess I better get moving!
ReplyDeleteDid you know you can do freebie digital scrapbooking online without any software or mess? See http://www.ScrapbookGenerator.com for such a web tool, just upload a photo, add a template layout and add some WordArt text.
ReplyDeleteThe bags are awesome!
ReplyDeleteI won a bound photo book a few years back from Kodak, and it came out really nice. What a wonderful gift you made!
Now, about free digital scrapbooking, here are some fun, free sites:
Rakscraps.com
3scrapateers.com
Scrapalot.blogspot.com
Ikeagoddess.blogspot.com
And so many more! BTW, 'free' is if you keep your pages on line. I like to print mine, so I guess I have to include the cost of paper and printer ink, LOL!
Ann,
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful gift and I'm sure she will love it.
Whak'd,
Thanks for the link.
Mom2fur,
I'm glad you liked the bags. I thought about using a digital scrapbooking software, but then I still have to buy a book and print out the pages. Thanks anyway. I'll be sure the bookmark the site.
