My New Cousin

This weekend we went to visit to my newest cousin.  I'm not sure if she's my 2nd cousin or 1st cousin once removed.  I never have quite understood how that works.  At any rate, the baby's mom is my first cousin. She slept most of the time that we were there.  She opened her eyes a couple of times and then quickly snuggled back up and went to sleep.

I love the smell of babies.  It was a nice feeling to hold a baby in my arms.  And it was also nice to hand her back as we prepared for home.  :-)
