I don't have any new projects to share yet, but I am wrote a
post earlier this week on me learning how to knit. I haven't decided what to make yet. I would love to make a hat or scarf, but by the time I finish it will be hot! :-)

I'm sure that it will be fun just picking out the yarn. There are so many beautiful yarns to choose from.
ReplyDeleteThen again...if you start now, you're way ahead for next winter, LOL!
ReplyDeleteI think you'll do a great job. I picked up knitting again when a friend sent me some lovely yarn. I'm making a scarf. Good thing this was a very mild winter, because at the rate I'm going, it will be next winter when this is done!
I'm much faster at crocheting than knitting!
If you start now, you can make a few to give as holiday gives!
ReplyDeleteKaren,
ReplyDeleteIsn't it crazy how many choices of yarn there are?? Picking yarn could be a hobby all in itself!
Mom2fur,
Isn't that the truth! I love crocheting although I haven't done it in a while.
Lynne,
I'm going to start looking at patterns now to see what I can give for the holidays. How fun!
Micheals was having a killer sale on yarn last week. The fuzzy stuff, the soft stuff and such. Yarn that is normally 5-7 bucks each and I got them for 1 dollar each. Woo Hoo! Everyone I know will have a new scarf. :)
