A Different World

Since I accepted the financial challenge and decided to teach crocheting and knitting classes, I have just been overwhelmed with the crochet/knit world. Who knew?

Growing up I never knew anyone who knitted or crocheted so I had no idea how huge it was. I have been watching you tube videos on how to make hats and other neat projects and I have found the most darling patterns on-line.

I have this urge to make several of them. I have no idea what I'm going to do with them, but every time I ignore my urge I wind up regretting it later, so this time I'm going to make them and figure out what to do with them later.

Check out this apple hat. Is that cute or what?? I'm definitely going to have to make this one.

  1. I've decided that I want to learn to knit, I can do a tiny bit of crochet. I sure wish I were closer, I'd be front and center in your class! That apple hat really makes me want to learn!

  2. Hey Ann, I bet you could teach yourself at www.knittinghelp.com. That's how I learned. The videos on there are great.

  3. The apple hat is precious! My Mother is a Master knitter. She is so talented. My sister is great at crocheting. Unfortunately, I have not inherited all of those talented genes. I can do the very basic of patterns, but they aren't so pretty when they are complete. My daugther and I are going to try and teach ourselves how to sew.

  4. Jessie, My daughter wants to learn how to sew, but I'm not really sure where to begin to teach her. I know how to read a pattern so I guess I could start there. I would love to know how you and daughter are doing with your lessons. Thanks for stopping by.
